  • Waves plugin question after upgrading to SONAR Platinum / JP from X3 Producer

I was a happy X2 then X3 user and did an impulse buy of Plantinum/JP with the October sale. I was upgrading my studio PC to a clean install of Win10 (64-bit) and figured the newest SONAR probably had the best compatibility with Win10.

JP installed with no issues using the Command Center. What happened to the option of 32-bit vs 64-bit? It appears my 10+ year old Wave Diamond bundle no longer works. It worked fine before the upgrade on Win7 (64-bit) with X3 (32-bit). I install the plugins and get errors during the VST scan about the WaveShell not finding plugins. Searched a bunch for solutions but suspect I'm screwed. There were only a handful of Waves effects that I used regularly, but now I have to find alternatives for my current album project.

Download rather then run the installer from Command Centre. Run the exe locally and choose 32 bit install.

The CCC downloaded files are still on your computer, so no need to download again. But run them manually as noted above for the 32-bit option.

In CCC settings choose verbose mode.
