Assume nothing. I'm surprised they leaked the newsletter, though, but I'll be pleasantly surprised if it shows up before Oct 31.

SURPRISE!!!!

Yes. Yes I am.
I'm also at work and can't download and play with this gem. Damn.

Okay, Cakewalk wins...I re-enabled the Start Screen. It really is a whole lot faster, it goes away the second you click on the file menu, and it doesn't re-appear when you close the project.

Also, it seems to handle non-English characters much better than before.

... I for one would like to know when new blog posts go up and that sort of thing.

I would like that, with links embedded, of course.

I would like to have the start screen start up automatic after closing project

It used to do that, but some people found it intrusive and complained. However, you can now assign a button in the custom module to the Start Screen or create a key command, so it's pretty accessible.

Very impressive. Next trick Noel, make it work on OSX :D.

OK great, now Cakewalk can plow head-first into the long-awaited Arranger View and Chord Track features!

Yaaaa, I have something to go do!! Thanks Bakers!
You guys should hire Karl to do a cumulative series of videos with a new one each month. A new SWA covering all the new stuff in each update. Create a job! I'd pay an extra 10 bucks a month to cover it.. maybe others would too but IDK. Everyone else seems to already know a LOT more than I do. LOL.

Thanks again!

Yes, what better way for a DAW to stand out than to copy features from other DAWs?

Good applications copy the features of other applications, great applications listen to their users then rip off the other applications.
