It's starting to feel like we've had more this year than we'd have ever got in an annual release.

I agree.  That purchase back in January is turning into a bigger bargain every month.

Lord Tim
This update looks fantastic!

Now that we can add patch points and aux tracks in the track pane, subfolders would be a very welcome addition to keep that all organised.

Can not wait to try this all out

I was already very satisfied with the progress of the updates so far, espescially the real time softsynth recording which I have already used many times. Christmas in October indeed. Nice job Bakers! On a side note, had the oppurtunity to meet Jim Landry at IMSTA FESTA New York and was impressed with how much emphasis he placed on user feedback. I think he had more questions for me than I had for him!

Thankee kindly pals!

I've been asking for this for a LONG time and always got the same comments from the regular haters. If they don't want it then no one else should. Lol.

This is going to make my workflow feel sooooo good.

Will these new features be available for all versions?

Depends. Patch points and aux tracks are Professional and Platinum only. But, bear in mind anything you can do with Patch Points and Aux Tracks is already doable without them. What they offer is a variety of alternative workflows, and I have to say, the implementation is really good - I was concerned that adding this functionality would be intrusive, but it's not at all.

Thanks Craig, I just scanned the e-zine, sorry to be so lazy. For me, this update is the best so far. I encourage everyone to read Jimmy's article about real life work with Sonar, It's brilliant. Good work Mr. Landry.
