I notice that soloing a new AUX or Patch Point doesn't work, unless you solo the source tracks too... A bit silly, no?

This may have been mentioned already.

Hmm, sounds a bit like the PT implementation. Might integrating the functionality of Folders and Aux Tracks provide a kind of solution?

I think if the Auxes and Patches worked exactly like busses that would be ideal.

There will have to be options though ... what if you've recorded a clip from the source tracks and want to SOLO that material, leaving the source tracks silent?

I'm not saying I don't agree, just that the solution needs to be flexible.

I agree, BTW. Patch Points are very cool.

Good point, Bob. I suppose you could just mute the source track then? Or have a rules menu..

I noticed this too when I soloed a vst track that was output to an aux. The midi and audio solowd correctly but the aux did not.

Took me a min to figure out but not long so more of an annoyance really.

I think it should behave like the folder solo button that would make sense.

Just ran across this issue last night. It does limit the utility of an otherwise great feature. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.
