   Rev. Craig, I did that (rename all scanned VST folders)with no change noted, I am still able to record disconnected from the interweb which is required for some iLok authorizations, but I can play fine without a few choice toys.
   J., The control bar seems to work OK here.

I had a problem with some of Native instruments hanging ever since Jamaica update. Trying to trouble shoot I disconnect my modem and kontakt loaded in 5 seconds. Walla! I don't know why but it works.

It seems I accidentally turned the control bar off with the "C" on the keyboard. Anyway, it was turned off. I turned it back on. I should pay more attention.

I see you use Adictive Keys, is it common to have to disable all plugins/effects to be able to use the AK plugin 'as recorded'? , I find if I don't, I just get a monotonous 'clunky' sound.

Not for me. When was the last time you ran the XLN installer?

Just did per your prompt, says everything is up to date. I'll check the sound again if I can get Sonar to stay up for more than 10-15 min. Still locking and hanging. I can get about an hours worth of stability after about 10 -12 reboots, hoop jumping and head banging.

Run latencymon straight after next crash I would (download the latest).
Sound like something is leaking, an educated guess is it's the octacapture but it's still just a guess...

Maybe it is the OC, not a lot of Roland support there. Here is the Latency Mon from about an hour. I started it after the last hang.
