Hi, hoping someone can point me in the right direction for playing AD with a TD-15 kit. When I play the kit I get sounds but most of the pads are not routed correctly, for example tom 1 plays a ride cymbal, crash 2 plays a hi hat sample, etc.  Am I looking in the right place with drum maps? On the drop down list there are dozens of choices, but none of them are the TD-15. I thought there would be a master switch somewhere that essentially said "a TD-15 is being played so map the midi notes to addictive drums." I'm just having trouble figuring out if I should be manipulating the Roland, Cakewalk, or directly in Addictive Drums.  And honestly, searching the forum and google hasn't been any help.

The short version:
 
In AD2, click the question mark, choose Map Window, and select the Roland TD-15 under Map Preset. This should take care of getting the right response from your kit. Additionally, you can route the Output of your MIDI track(s) to the AD2 drum map that ships with SONAR so that you'll see the correct note names when editing in the Drum Pane of the Piano Roll view.

The TD-15 map in AD2 will probably work fine to get started but here are some additional ideas that may be of use to you. 
 
I've used AD1 and AD2 with my Roland Kit and really like how they work together, but (and there is always a "but") I found I had to get familiar with (1) the Sonar Drum Map editor, (2) the AD2 Map window (under the ? as brundlefly said) and (3) the workings of midi CC 4 which indicates the amount that the hihat pedal is open.    Also, if you want to edit the drums in one of the midi editors like the Piano Roll View (PRV) then you need to be aware that a closed hihat requires that the proper CC 4 message is used.  This may seem a bit daunting at first but it allows much more subtle use of the hihat pedal for things like funk and jazz.  Also, mapping some of the TD-15 triggers on your kit to other sounds in AD2 and VST instruments (e.g. Dimension Pro) using the Sonar Drum Map can be very useful.
