  • [Solved] All Control Bar modules are missing in Platinum

Using W-10, have JP build and everything is up to date. Since I upgraded to JP I get 6 BitBidge error windows (runtime) when Platinum starts.
I just have a white space at the top with Sonar Platinum and the project name, but no modules at all.

I have restarted, I am not sure what to do.
I have not checked my DAW, it is running W 8.1 and is a Studiocat, I bet it is running just fine but I'll check later or tomorrow.

I have rebooted, I have changed VST scan from Automatic Background to manual because it takes 6 minutes to run (on the laptop W-10), it takes about 15 seconds on the DAW, W-8.1.

Any ideas? I'll be happy to take a screenshot if someone will tell me how. Or do anything else that might give info.

Thanks!

Keyboard short "C"
If it continues to be a problem consider disabling the shortcut.

Thanks Scook, maybe I did do it, lol.

Do you know why I get six runtime errors when I start Platinum, all are related to BitBridge.
Thanks.

Off hand no. I have not read about or experienced the issue. The errors occur when starting SONAR only or starting SONAR by launching a project or template from the OS? I do not believe BitBridge should start before loading a project or template containing 32bit plug-ins into 64bit SONAR.

It happens when starting Platinum, while the VST scan is going on. IT happens on my laptop with W-10 and 267 plugins. I only have a little over a hundred on my DAW, it is running W-8.1 and I don't get these messages on it. It is not a show stopper, so far just an annoyance. I use 64bit whenever possible.

This is the message I get:
MS C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error.
Program C:\\Program Files\Cakewalk\Utilities\BitBridge.exe

R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

(EGAD... I just noticed something else different with W-10, or with this computer and W-10. I used to be able to hold the left mouse pad button and use the mouse pad to select a passage for copying or making bold, etc. Now when I do that it changes the zoom... I guess I have accidentally changed something else.)
Thanks!
