Does command centre allow you to install Sonar on more than computer?

I have a 'school work' computer   and a 'Studio computer'   and using Plat at different times would be great if possible.

I'm pretty sure that you can install Sonar on both of your own computers as long as you only use one at a time. Thumbs up to a sensible license from Cakewalk :-)

Yes, installing on two machines and using one at a time is OK. Same as older versions of SONAR. The Command Center can be used to install and authenticate both installations as long as both machines have internet access.

Along the same lines, I downloaded Plat on an office computer that will never run the program (it is just an old box I use for email, etc., but is only one in house hardwired to router). My plan was to copy the files to thumbdrive and then put on my studio desktop and laptop without ever installing on office computer. This approach has worked with preCCC installs. Two things happened that surprised me:  1)the copied file would not run on the studio desktop - says missing a .dll, and 2) CCC  installed Plat on the office computer.
I ended up just downloading Plat by wireless to the studio desktop. That took a while but it worked. Plat installed and runs fine. Can I now download it to the laptop or do I need to somehow uninstall and deactivate on the office computer first so that I don`t exceed 2 installs?

There should be no need to uninstall SONAR as a prerequisite to installing it on another machine.

Thx. I wasn`t sure as I will end up with three installs, even though I have no intention of running  Plat on the office box.

Just to be complete, you won't have problems with SONAR. Bundled third party software from Celemony (Melodyne) and XLN Audio (Addictive Drums 1 and 2) do restrict the number of installations.

I have four.  I think it's OK if you don't open them all up at once.

I have X1, X2 & X3 installed on 3 machines.

Due to a lack of limbs, I can only use one at a time
