Have a baseline that was taken from Band in the Box.
The notes consist of A2, Dflat3, E3, Fsharp3, E3 for the first 4 bars.
Inserted a midi track for SI bass. Cut and pasted the Band in a Box baseline to the inserted midi SI bass track.
Everything seemed to be working fine until I noticed that the A2 note was not playing ( no sound for that note ).
Also noticed that further down the tune, the same happened for other notes.

What could be happening? How do I solve the problem?

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and help.

If it's all low notes, then it's probably that SI bass is programmed to sound an octave lower than notated to make it easier to record parts on keyboard with less than the full 88 keys. A lot of bass synths do this. In that case, you'll need to transpose the MIDI up 12 half-steps.

Otherwise, the most common cause of dropped MIDI notes is the Prepare Using buffer being too low. The current default of 250ms tends to be too low. Try increaisng it to 500 (Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording)

Lots of ways to do this. You may start with Transpose midi-plugin

There's also the Key+ (key offset) widget in the MIDI track that will do it non-destructively, but I usually just go ahead and use Process > Transpose.
