RDAS1110.DLL is part of the Octacapture software.
If you google RDAS1110.DLL you might get more tips on how to resolve this.
Cheers..

Thanks Doc, I did a Google search, read and re read the Kontakt submission, and perused Bristol Jonesey's July of 13 rebuild, noted on one that The Craig was also using  an OctaCapture at that time without problems, although there are a lot of inquiries r/t malware and the Roland drivers. I have heeded your prior suggestions and have completely uninstalled all of the files and did a  complete reinstall of the two drivers that Roland requires to run the OC, in fact I have done that scenario three times now to no avail.  the above screen shots are from a crash as I was using and old copy of Sonar 6 Producer in an effort to see if it was indeed the Pro  product, and that crashed as well as you can see. So I'm assuming it is either with my system or the OC driver is faulty. I can't afford another interface, so I dunno. I did see in the afore mentioned post that the dump files were requested by the bakers, so I guess I may indeed give that a try. Please know that I do dearly appreciate all your effort and time attempting to assist me with this matter. As I said before, this forum with guys like you who take their valuable time to help out the IT disadvantaged like myself and many others, is the big reason I have not abandoned ship. Had some investors over, who were looking into a friends studio project and were interested in his DAW software. He brought them to me (as he thinks I know something. ) to see the Cakewalk product. I actually think I got a sale off despite a crash in the middle of a demonstration, as I showed them the vast support available through this forum with these products. All were equally impressed. Please accept my most heartfelt appreciation for all that all of you do!

You have definitely updated the system program for octcapture and done windows update everywhere (run it again)? You have visited intel driver update site? Temp disabled virus scanner as well?

It's def octacapture IMHO or something conflicting with it. You could also delete AUD.INI in sonar (google for instructions) and make sure in windows control panel sounds the audio interface is disabled within.

What about latencymon?
Sorry to repeat anyway, running out of ideas...

Cheers..

This is not really a solution for you...just to pass on my experience of using a Quad-capture on my Win7 setup. I had similar issues/crashes, stuck drivers etc, usually poined to a Quad-caputure driver and I had many conversations with Cakewalk Support, Roland and forum members. With no updated driver support from Roland it was quite frustrating as I'd be getting crashes every session. Equally frustrating was hearing about other forum members with a similar card having a perfectly great time.

I couldn't solve it in the end. I ended up purchasing a RME UFX and am just using the Quad for Windows' sounds, general playback etc. I am now experiencing a very stable system and can concentrate on making music. With the one exception of a Waves plugin freezing Sonar from time to time, the RME has been fantastic to work with...even if Sonar does freeze, I don't get the 'hung driver' issue anymore when killing the process.

Sorry you're having this issue as I know it really gets in the way of one's work. I hope you can find a solution and it's great to see other forum members trying to figure it out with you.

Best of luck

From the first set of screen shots, I would have to say that there is an issue with your Visual C++ libraries.  Are you absolutely sure that windows update is actually updating and not erroring out on some of the updates? A mismatch with these and Cakewalk would cause crashes.

Well spotted that man, missed MSVCR90.dll... So two DLL's to look out for.
You are definitely running the latest Sonar as well? You could also try rolling back and reinstalling...

Thanks again guys!
Sonar is updated, I did a roll back and an uninstall and reinstall, even tried an old copy I have of Producer 6. Windows is up to date, and Intel has nothing for my product. What I did though was delete the AUD.INI file per suggestion, (sorry but forgot where to find the doggon thing). Time will tell, hoping LSU pulls this one off tonight

This has been ongoing but the little dump screen is tricky, as soon as I click anything to get a snip of the screen it would disappear. So following Mettelus's advice from another thread, I downloaded the Moo0 monitor and saw they had a screenshot tool there as well that works with just a keystroke, well, probably to everyone's dismay, Voila!

Just thought somebody might know what some of these numbers mean, I know it's been awhile but the problem persists. I've updated until windows crashed again, so after another install, and a re update of all the updates praying to sidestep another crash, again I cant finish a song. just kinda throwing it out there, prolly isn't a fix other than rebuilding my machine, or trashing my OctaCapture, ..but...you take away an old mans hope, sometimes you take away all he's got.

Googling came up with nothing. At this stage I would ring up cake tech support. Otherwise a system rebuild might be in order as the next step. Don't forget to backup at every stage.
