A couple things would be nice.
1. A blinky light with a numerical value, maybe in the performance toolbar to tell you when it's on and what the delay value is.
2. An option to disable it for muted tracks (might be problematic because you can unmute a track when the transport is running).
3. Possibly recalculate the value when a track is archived or the offending plugin is removed so you don't have to close and reopen the project.
The first one would have saved me some head scratching time the other night.

You can force PDC recalc by toggling the audio engine, no need to close and re-open the project. FYI, the easiest way to see if plug-ins have added latency to a project is the global FX bypass button in the Mix Module or the keyboard shortcut "E". Bypassing effects with the FX button and "E" also force PDC recalc.

I just discovered you can turn it off completely, duh! Too many little bits to learn.
The blinky light would still be nice :)
