Steps to reproduce? I've done a lot of copy and paste with groove clips, even split ones.

Is this available in the demo version?  All I have available is the Hopkinton version.

BTW, this update looks to be a very good.  The synth recording should satisfy and quiet a lot of folks out there.

The Ipswich version may actually cause me to fork over my cash.  Of course, I want to try before I buy.

On the subject of the Start Menu
I reported two problems on the last release.
1) paths with characters in them (apostrophes) seem to be working for me now. I can save, open and I even get the icons displayed.
2) pinning didn't work, and still doesn't. I have 3 pinned project that I can not unpin and new projects I still cannot pin. Is there a registry path or file or something I can edit to get rid of the pinned projects?

Not a biggie however. I'll turn off the Start Menu not only for this but because I agree it adds to the start up time. Not worth the feature update.

But to something Anderton said, "It's all about choices". I agree. I'm a geek, always have been, always will be. A new Windows system comes out and I'm there ready to play with the new features. I don't want it to look like XP or Windows 95. Give me something new. It might be great, it might have quirks but I'm all for change. I'm an old dog ready to learn new tricks. Again, if it flat out has issue, roll back, report it and boogie on!!!

Thanks Bakers!!

Or listen to regular (Clear Channel/iHeart) radio.

I don't like to listen to radio any more. The compression algorithms they use are just horrible. A quiet section is now the loudest part of the song.

Most of the prominent parts/instruments are buried in the mix by other things that were in the background!!

Huh...    I guess I don't listen to most songs long enough to have noticed.

Anyhow...  great update.   I've only started messing with the synth recording feature but I can tell it's something I'll be able to make use of!   Same goes for clip exporting - works with synths too.

Though for some reason,in both Firefox and Chrome, the "Newsletter" box won't accept a check mark. I'll contact the bakers directly and ask them how to check the box.

I had to click "Update" first, and then I was able to check "Newsletter".
