I expected to find the style knobs a bit too basic to be worthwhile, but the "Grit" one is actually marvellous. I can see myself using that quite a lot.

I haven't even downloaded yet, but it looks like I'll be busy exploring this weekend...

Of course I would not let a month go by without begging for a new drum maps UI.

Or perhaps 2 and a half weeks, give or take

What is this regression you are always banging on about?

Regressive wining is a syndrome common to flamers and other depressed humans.  It's akin to the spoiled little brat that comes to a party with a needle and proceeds to pop all the balloons...

It's an unfortunate syndrome which permeates most forums these days...it derives joy out of making disturbing public noises in the midst of a joyful symphony...

Can someone explain the "real time synth recording" update as I am not understanding what the problem was and what the update has fixed?

I have always recorded synths in real time along with the track playing? - so I am guessing it is referring to something else and a problem I never came up against?

I just downloaded the Sonar update and local help file update as well as the CCC update.

I was trying to find any other updates that are required expecting the new PC modules would be separate but didn't see such.

Are they included within the Sonar update?

Are there any other downloads updated for this month?

It appears I won't install until tomorrow... But I'm anxious to play!

The CCC seems a lot more responsive.

I downloaded the update plus the local offline documentation (which used to take 20+ minutes on its own) and the whole thing was completed in about 6 minutes. and that was over wireless wi-fi

Keni the new modules appear as PC modules when you right click the PC and choose Insert Module.
They appear at the bottom under Style dial Fx

Oh, and the new Start Screen also seems quicker

And you are also the first person here to unnecessarily attack somebody and bring the thread down, and you are now stirring up a bun fight. Congratulate yourself you've just made this thread nasty.

I'm sorry you don't like people talking about regression here. I have already thanked and congratulated Cakewalk here already but some people here love to stir up and polarise everything.

FYI some people might find a candid talking about regression issues useful. The good news is there does not seem that many so far, but it is early days.

I think this could turn out to be a pretty good release. I'm sorry though if nothing but a round of applause is allowed. You should note without decent feedback issues do not get fixed. I prefer interact from a community stance.

This is also a question I hope to see others explain from Boydie:
