OK so I read i DON'T have to wrap the liquid Mix DLLs, just the fact that I have Jbridger installed is good enough, and the dialog box for each vst allows me to check "use jbridge".
Then I read, yes wrap the DLLs , put them in separate folder, and all is good.
TO Recap MY situation.
1 IF I install LM 3.0 and the install program places the factory DLLS, LM Mono and LM Stereo in either the default location or one I choose, the plug in does not show up in the list of VST effects. IF I try to scan that folder , the scan freezes and I have to kill it. Bottom line the unaltered vst is NOT there in my list.
2 IF I do wrap the two dlls and only those two, and do not choose any other folders, and place them in a separate folder and remove the original dlls then the scan picks them up and places them in my list, HOWEVER, now almost all of my exisitng dlls have use jbridge checked in their properties. Existing projects throw up warning dialog about cannot save the wrapped version of that vst, they still load ok.I do not want to go through 300 some dlls to uncheck that property.
3 I have tried a reset and rescan after step two, but the jbridge still shows up checked, the only way to stop the behavour is to delete the jbridge folder.
Liquid Mix is nice but not really worth all this trouble
I have visited the jbridge website looking for assistance and dont see anything close to my issue
