Hi!
1) I'd like to know if it is possible to put several tracks to a folder track at once, i.e. select the tracks you need click and/or drag them to a folder track? Couldn't find a way to do it and had to drag each and every track to the folder, which is a workflow stopper.
2) Also do we have to rename each track even if a MIDI file with a proper name is dragged form the browser to the arrange area? Yes, this works as expected with audio files.
3) Yet another question. If I have multiple instances of the DimPro or RapturePro and rename them in the Synth rack, why these names are not automatically updated in their corresponding channel strips?
I'm new to the Sonar so there might be some option, preference, button or even a workaround to solve these little yet irritating issues. Please, help!

#2 - If you drag a midi file from the browser to an empty place (below the other tracks it should revert to the name of the clip.  This is similar to if you drag a wav to an empty place (will do the same).

#3 - this has been put up for request in the features section.

There are even further organizational helpers in sonar - track colors - Once I get all my tracks into a folder - Ill open the folder - when you select the folder strip it you can selct all the tracks within the strip - then go over to the track inspector - usually on the left - choose track - and you can select all of their colors there.

Beyond that - you can also name the clips that you like - say - a great solo - select the clip - go to the track inspector and select "Clip" - the first item in this menu is the name.

You may know some of this already - you just got me thinking about some of my favorite organizing features in sonar

This is the behaviour I'm talking about. Works fine with audio files, but not with MIDI files.

I'd like to vote for this. Will take a look in the feature requests. Thanks!

EDIT: Couldn't find it there. Please, share the link.

Soundwise, I'm going to have to eat my words (and my hat!)... It wasn't in the features section although that IS where we should start...
I did fiind one entry that was similar.  Could possibly add on to that if you don't want to start a fresh log?
The link for that one is here.

Interesting. I tried this just yesterday and there did not appear to be a "Move to Folder..." option in the right-click (context) menu.

If the tracks you want to move are already in a folder you must first choose the option to "Remove From Folder".

Then you can select them again and choose "Move To Folder"
