Have I already bugged this up? Should I file it again as its with the current release?

I don't keep track of my bug reports (sorry) so I'm unsure...

I don't think it would hurt to resubmit it.

I'm just asking as I seem to remember someone being "bothered" that I re-submitted...

It seems to me as we know there are often undocumented bug fixes, so acknowledging a still living bug seems worthy...? ;-)

This one is a gotcha! I do my best to remember to reset the post status immediately upon cloning, but my memory is old... A number of times been in this situation and startled at the unexpected sound difference.

I don't see anything wrong in reminding them its still a bug.

This is not true, at least in the latest version of Platinum. Everything works as expected if "Clone Effects" is checked.
 
Unless you've discovered some use case where this doesn't apply, I don't think there's a bug.

That's the reason I asked which he's running.  With Ipswich I'm able to clone PC tracks with POST without any problems.
