I have a problem when I'm using Sonar Professional with my Interface Roland Quad Capture UA-55. I have Windows 8.
Sometimes Sonar crashes so I have to close it. Then I try to open it, but I cant.
So I open "Task Manager" on Windows to force its closure. I see a process call it "SONAR.exe". I try to shut down, but that's impossible.
Finally I must disconnect and reconnect the usb cable of my Interface of audio to shut down the process.
After that I can open again Sonar and use it.
Do you have any idea about that to fix it? or have you got the same problem?
Help me please.
 
 
 

I'm using the Roland Octa Capture. Works fine.
Make sure you have the latest Roland drivers for the quad capture. Make sure you use the asio drivers.
 

Hi, I have the latest ASIO drivers for my Interface. But I want to know than if it's possible to reboot sonar again without have to reconnect my Interface because I'm afraid that isn't  a good practice for the hardware.

I was having similar problems with my Quad Capture until I installed the latest system update (v1.04) and things have been very stable since then. (This is different than installing the latest drivers.)
