This is too strange, have anyone experienced this ? Notes are grey'd out also there's no adjustable buttons to " tune " notes !!

Melodyne was not activated, by a reason, don't know why..
Had to " Activate it " but it works now...

I think this happens if there's no internet connection when you start up Melodyne. This happens to me occasionally. it used to happen ALL THE TIME because my DAW PC was not connected to the internet. but shutting everything down and plugging in to the network and restarting worked.
 
Melodyne is a PitA for this behavior. You can activated it ten times, but once it's running and nothing can be changed, you need to check your connection and restart the application.
