Hi all,
 
I have a boss br 800 and sonar le.
I want to record directly from the br 800, by usb, directly into an audio track on sonar. So that I can hear my guitar through my laptop speakers and see the waveform recorded in real time.
 
Firstly, is this possible ?
Secondly, can anyone explain how to set it all up, ive tried to see the boss as an audio input on a track, or as a controller but its not shown ?
 
The drivers are installed and windows sees the device.
 
Any help would be great.

What Driver Mode are you using?
For what it's worth, ASIO driver mode generally provides the best performance, but you won't be able to use the laptop's speakers; you'll have to connect speakers to the BR's audio outputs. And probably an amplifier, too, unless the speakers are active (have their own amps).
By ASIO I don't mean ASIO 4 All.

Thanks for the reply, ok im not sure how to set the driver mode. Also I don't mind using headphones if I can still
see the track been recorded on my laptop screen.
 
I will check the manual on driver mode setup.
