In staff view you used to able to right lick on a note and see the notes properties and be able to change the length of the note placing the value. IS this possible in Sonar plat via? becuase right click gives me the 'process menu' 
 
Edit  It appears when step record is not in use ... but when I use step record I think it gives a different menu?

I believe there's still also an issue related to where the note is in the staff that will cause this:
