Blowing dust around your studio is not a good option. It will only settle somewhere else. The best place for blowing dust is in your computer and outside as well. And you need the right tool to do it too.

I find what works well for me is to use a normal vacuum but with a nice soft brush on the end.  If your current brush is too firm go to a vacuum shop and buy a soft brush.  They will usually fit because most fittings are standard.

Just carefully dust over your equipment/keyboards/etc on a regular basis. Just be aware of any slightly loose knobs etc that may come off and get sucked up.  Do it regularly and it will only be a simple quick operation.  Those mini vacuum tools are good too for getting into very tight places.

If most of the dust is human skin cells then I need to spend more time in my studio because I don't have much dust at all.

But when I do I use a vacuum cleaner with good filters. When I had my studio room built I caulked all the areas around windows and door frames so that when shut up, the room is not airtight (I've got to breath) but close to it.

I was incorrect. Yea, I know, unusual. And that I am a man and admitting it is truly unbelievable.
(Once I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken. Anon.)

No doubt my source of such a four paws was a different context.

I should have written, "The major contributor of indoor dust is human skin cells."

I think this is directly related to those custom-made full-body audio suits you wear.

And the modifications you made to the hallway leading to your studio that provide full decontamination.

No wonder your tunes sound so clean.
