I just downloaded and installed the Melodyne Studio 4.x upgrade from 2.x. To invoke the standalone version from the Start Button (Win10 64bit) it says I've installed the 32 bit version. Is this right? I don't remember seeing an option of selecting 32 or 64bit on the Celemony website. Am I missing something?

Thanks...

That's correct... the stand alone is 32 bit...

edit: oops... I read this elsewhere but it is not true... both 32 bit and 64 bit versions show up in my win10 program listing under celemony

When you select Melodyne from the Windows menu their are 2 icons, one for 32 bit and one for 64 bit. On a 64 bit system, both are installed or so it appears on my system. Win 10 x64.

Yes, indeed. I'll revisit the site and download the 64b version just to be sure. Thanks everyone.

What is the latest version # for the new Melodyne essential 4?

4.0.2.002

I went to download it again and I do NOT get an option for 32b vs 64b. I get this:
"The installation program is personalized for you and contains all the current data for your license."

I look thru my license info and I see nothing that relates to 32b vs 64b. I'm thinking the stand-alone is 32b.

Hmm, I downloaded what I thought was the update but I'm still showing version 2. Something. I need to dig deeper I guess. Thx

I had the same issue but Melodyne support helped me out.

“Melodyne 4” (no matter which edition) is definitely a 64 bit program. You should have two separate “program files” directories on your Windows system: one for 32 bit and one for 64 bit applications. Make sure you open it from the 64 bit directory. After my initial install, I did an install and selected "modify install" and got the screen where I could select which version to install. That fixed it.
