Hey guys,
I am scratching my head here - since the update to the new start screen, I can't see the per-project folder option either in the start screen, the save dialogue or the preferences (It used to be here  Edit > Preferences > File - Audio Data. )

I can save a new project to a new folder & all the data gets contained in that folder but it means a bit extra typing in the save dialogue (create folder-> name folder -> go into folder -> name project -> save )
rather than save project + tick the 'per project audio folders' box and a folder by the project name is automatically created.

I am still a little new to Sonar (only since X3) so this could be my mistake...

any suggestions ?

Chuck

If you start a new project from a template, you will see the Per-Project Audio option, otherwise, you have to do it manually - to the best of my awareness.  :)

Boom !
thanks Bob - not perfect but certainly workable !
would like to have it a default again for all projects but will set up a custom template which should work fine.

Cheers

I set up a modified template every time a Sonar release come out, starting from Normal, where I adjust the initial display - like not having ProChannel clicked on in the track inspector, and that sort of thing, and then I save it to be right under the Normal template - with a name like -Normal - Modified, so I can choose that.
