  • [SOLVED] How to get track view /clips pane to scroll during playback & recording

Pardon my terminology impairment...but I seem to have confused my settings and can't figure out which one it is.

Issue: When in playback or recording, the now time guide moves as always, but at the end of the page in track view the guide moves further to the right and out of view, without the page updating/forwarding so I can see what's happening next.

What's the setting for that?

Hi. Do you have scroll lock (pause) enabled?
All the best.

Thanks, Ken. I do have the default set in the Track View options:  "Left Click Locks Scroll". But even if I turn that off, the track view pane doesn't scroll.

Aaak! Eureka. Found a thread that pointed me to the solution, and clarifies how I created this mess to begin with.

On my computer keyboard, there is a button..."Scroll Lock". Must have accidentally pressed it.

Now I can relax and go for a nice, long, scroll in the park.

And I'm now just smart enough to see that! Thanks, Ken!

Hey, chamlin... you will find that whenever you do something within track view, scrolling will stop... to let you do whatever it is ur doing... anticipating your next post, just know that all you have to do to begin scrolling again is rt. click in the top part of the scrolling pane (where the bar numbers are), either in the track view or the piano roll view...

This will resume scrolling in both cases.

Have fun!
