First: Whoever did this at Cakewalk, THANK YOU!!

 
I just finished sampling a Gibson Midtown guitar because I wanted a really nice semi-hollow body guitar sample that was not quite as hollow as an ES-335 but no Les Paul solid body, either. I trimmed each note, named each clip, etc.
 
When I exported the clips, I could export them all without prefixes or suffixes - just the clip names. This will make creating sample libraries sooooooooooo much easier.

Is this a new feature in the new SONAR ? or is this something an older version of SONAR can do ?
Any chance of posting  a screenshot of what the audio clips looked like in SONAR before you exported ?

Yes, thanks for asking. The ones I did for Ensoniq, Peavey, Steinberg, Wizoo, and Alesis are lost in the mists of time, but I've done quite a few for Cakewalk.

Well, I didn't mention loop libraries...I've done a bunch of those as well, with the most popular probably being the AdreneaLinn Guitars library I did for M-Audio. Members recently received the EDM Percussion Library. I have a library waiting in the wings of Korg Z1 arpeggios and "Acid" basslines, but my main project has been a "Rock Guitar Anthems" loop library done in conjunction with David Lee Roth's former guitarist.

I love the samples you have done in the past and, lets be realistic, not many of us have the money to be able to do the samples you have done with all the different instruments.
 

You will all laugh, but I really want a good set of Melodica samples: one set for the small button version and one set for the full keyboard version.
 
It doesn't sound exactly like a harmonica or accordion and I can't find a sample library: except for one odd one that requires a breath controller.
