I've updated my X3 to Sonar Artist and later to Sonar Pro.
This morning, I decided to uninstall X3 and Sonar Artist because I HAVE Sonar PRO, but...
Now, one of my Boost 11 Plug - in  is missing.
What should I do to get my Boost 11 Plug-in back?

Re-install SONAR Professional

Quick thought. Before removing previous versions, you should be able to find vst files and move them to a location other than previous versions. Can't remember if uninstall pulls all parts of the program or just what is there in X.

Re-install SONAR Professional

I've tried it but I have the same problem. Boost 11 plug-in not found.

Interesting, it is bundled in the SONAR Platinum core. I tested it by removing the Boost11 folder and reinstalled before posting. Boost11 is part of the Engineering Suite but I did not think it was in that installer. You could try re-installing that package. Otherwise run an advanced install of X3 and select the plug-in from the custom pick list.

What's interesting, after I updated Ipswith, my Sonar Pro does not scan VST's on the startup.

Scan settings are in Preferences > File > VST Settings

No, does not work. Currently I'm re-installing X3.

The moral of my story: After you upgrade your Sonar DAW, don't uninstall the previous versions.

There are reasons for not deleting previous versions but the current version of SONAR does not depend on X3 for either Boost11 or VST scanning. It is always advisable to remove old versions before installing new versions though. If I wanted to have only the current version of SONAR installed and experienced the issues you are having, I would perform a clean install of the current version using these instructions https://www.cakewalk.com/...n-Install-Instructions

I've just reinstalled X3 but still NO Boost 11.

I'm not going to waste my weekend.
I've asked Sonar Support to help me.
Let's hope they will respond.

P.S. What's interesting, I can easily find my Boost 11 in the Programs - Cakewalk - VST folder.
Go figure.
