I almost feel embarrassed posting an issue that I know isn't a Cakewalk issue on this forums. But this place is the best place to come with any 3rd party software issues because of the knowledge of the members.
I don't have as much time to use my DAW as I used to so my info is somewhat sketchy.
Sometime in August after the Hopkinton update AND the purchase of the Mesa Boogie pack from IK I started getting an error with Platinum 64 bit projects around 8/25. I'm not running Plat 32 bit.
 The error is:
A fatal error has occured.
Module: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ik Multimedia\AmpliTube3\Amplitube4.vpa64

It does NOT occur on all projects w Apm 3. It fails on certain projects sporadically. Once it fails I need to restart my DAW. For example I have one project that has about 15 "takes". It fails on that project with takes before I installed Mesa Boogie or the H -I updates in SONAR.

Searching I've found all sort of solutions from uninstall-re-install AmpiTube, copy a DLL, etc. There was even one here that was solved but with no clear action how.

I'm lost! This is such a pisser. I power up the DAW and I can't really do anything with these projects. By the time I've restarted my DAW several times I don't feel like doing any music.

Can anyone help with a sure fix?

Hi. Sorry if this is obvious. Have you tried to do a vst reset and rescan?
All the best.

I've been having "issues" with Amp 3.vpa64 thingy in Sonar x64 for quite a while.
No help so far from IK (I have a support ticket in).
I "jbridged" the x86 version and it runs like a champ! (bit bridge not so much)
I know this doesn't address the "why", but it works.

Oddly I just installed this Ipswich update:

http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013428/SONAR-2015-Ipswich-Update-1

and the problem seems to have vanished. For now.

I don't get it.
