and Studio One is the bomb, I just get it on crossgrade from Sonar Platinum couple days ago thanks to forum here and use it constantly and it is very awesome, solid, fast, and polished professional feel, love the scratch pads and the arrange, mastering, everything, and it just seem more natural to me a lot of the ways and things. Quickly becoming my number one best DAW
Just a quick post in support of your original response and to encourage you to continue to post your opinions. There is nothing wrong with discussing similarities and differences between DAWs as well as what your preferences are. All the major modern DAWs are both inventive and derivative in their origins and it will be helpful for us to hear what works in other products besides Sonar. Studio one 3 has sparked a bit of interest because of its clean look and scratch pad. This posting was, IMHO, perfectly appropriate and positive in tone.
Observations about the strengths of other DAWs are common and if Craig Anderton is allowed to complement features in other products it is only fair that you are as well. It is important for readers to avoid applying improper syllogisms by assuming an "exclusive OR". For example; just because I think Jeff Beck is a great guitarist doesn't mean I think Hendrix isn't.
Please keep us up to date on your progress and never let us dampen your enthusiasm!
