Documentation, so I downloaded it from the CCC but can't find it. Searched the help from within Plat. Searched the hard drive for "Ipswich" , PDF and by date nothing related for a recent date. What's it called and where can it be found? 

   I had the same issue & did all the same steps. I ended up downloading from the CW website. But I am curious to know where this supposedly ended up on my hard drive too!

So is anyone from Cakewalk on here any longer?

There should be 2 pdf files, one is the Sonar Reference Guide, the other is the Sonar User Guide

I find both PDF files at the above location, so that would seem to be the right spot.
 
I don't know why there wouldn't be an option to create a desktop shortcut for the documentation files when they get downloaded, nor do I understand why it wouldn't give a bit of info on the web site as to where it would default to saving upon download.
 
But - at least it might be able to be found for you now.

yep... once you locate them, might wanna right click, create shortcut and drag this onto your desktop.  Even better yet, you can Drag the reference and users guides over to your  "Start" listing and pin it to the upper part... I just did this.  My desktop is way too cluttered.
 
Someone definitely should make this more visible to users... 
 

I have located the Reference Guide & User Guide @ C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum. However, they are dated 1/19/15 & 1/12/15, respectively. My version of Platinum is up to date so those dates couldn't be right. The Sonar.CHM file is dated 9/15/15. Am I missing something?

Just like the prior versions of SONAR, the SONAR Reference Guide.pdf is a snapshot of the original help files included with SONAR. Only the website and chm files are updated. There is a feature request regarding the update frequency of the Reference Guide http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3244803

I don't care where on my system the Docs are, I would simply like some logical consistency... where is the "Welcome_to_the_SONAR_Ipswich_Release.pdf". ??? The same way the rest of the docs have been titled.  
It took 20 minuets to down load the file, where did it go?
