I am certain in the past I could display the detail window for any of my VSTs, as many windows as I wanted open at a time.  But since moving to Ipswitch, if I have a window open for one effect (say Channel tools), and then I click on another effect (say R-Mix), the first window closes and I cannot see the two at the same time.
 
There surely must be some setting that has gotten changed, and I can't say for certain this happened with the Ipswitch upgrade.  But I cannot find any settings for this.  What is going on here?

Just press "control" when opening another vst... you can open as many as you like...

Thanks.  It appears they changed the default with Ipswitch, my problem before was too many windows open.
 
Maybe I'll stick with the new default, and use the CTRL key as Vastman suggested -- if I can remember that. 
 
On edit, I see that the VST windows also have a "pin" button that also can cause them to remain open, so there are several ways to make this happen.  I never noticed that before.

You can also click on the pin toward the upper right to keep an open plugin open. 

Wow, never noticed the pin!  btw, this behaviour of auto closing plugs is not new... it's been this way for awhile... keeps clutter down. The pin?  new to me but my eyes miss a lot these days!
