Several days ago, I bought a couple expansion packs for DimPro and one for Cakewalk Sound Center - the DSF Bass Expansion pack. The 2 DimPro packs showed up in Sonar after reinstalling the DimPro upgrade. The CSC Bass pack never showed up. I've installed it 3 times now, thinking that somewhere during the installation it would tell me where it was putting it - it didn't. I've looked through all the Cakewalk folders and other folders, too. I've had Sonar rescan for vst plugins. Cakewalk Customer Service told me to reinstall the last Sonar X1 upgrade and then hold the CTRL key while launching Sonar to "personalize" settings. Nothing has worked so far. The DSF Bass pack for CSC is hiding from me - somewhere in my computer. Any advice? Shouldn't downloads from Cakewalk end up in the correct place? Frustrated...

Have you searched your entire hard disk/s for the search term "DSF" within Windows?

Cheers.

I believe that if all else fails, you can download them again through your store account

The sound center programs should be installing into: C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Sound Center

In Dimension Pro and Rapture you can force the program browser to refresh by pressing the F5 key while it's open.  I'll have to go double-check but I believe it is the same for Sound Center, try pressing F5 to see if it refreshes the program list.

If not, send me a PM and I'll get one of our tech support reps that knows Sound Center inside and out to assist further.

Thanks, guys. I finally figured it out. I installed it for the 4th time and looked at everything very carefully. The problem is that the default installation is "Custom installation" or something like that. I clicked on the line for more options and found something like "Install in Cakewalk Sound Center". Duh. I've always accepted default settings before - this time I shouldn't have. All is well, now.

Just wondering.... Why wouldn't Cakewalk Sound Center be the defaul destination for a Cakewalk Sound Center expansion pack?
