I can't get my Sonar x3 to work on windows 10 preview build 10130
Any help out there

Development on X3 stopped some time ago. Do not expect changes to X3. That said, I am surprised relatively new versions of SONAR will not run on Win10. There are people here running Win10 previews. I suspect some of them use X3. You may want to provide more information about the problems you are having and include some info about your hardware.

X3 is what it is; if there's a compatibility issue, it will be on Microsoft to fix it. That said, I'd be really surprised if X3 doesn't run on Win 10. Are you sure it's SONAR, and not your audio interface driver that has a problem? What are the symptoms?

What doesn't work exactly?
What interface?
Does your interface work away from Sonar/are all your drivers windows 10 compatible?
X3 is not supported under win10 and probably will never be, although people have been reporting platinum works for their hardware (not sure about X3).
Also of course MS does not support Windows 10 preview either.
Make sure you are running X3E.
 

If the install completed try running in compatibility mode and see if that helps.

If it works on 8.1 it should work on 10.  I know some of my Sony products will not work on 10 but requires a reinstall for them to work.

What specially is not working?

Man...Thats troubling.  I was hoping 10 would be more of a Win 7 since they seem to mention it often enough in the "familiarity" aspect. 

IMHO it is a very nice compromise between Win7 and 8.1. A little of both, so still familiar, but a more integrated feel.

What, Sonar X3 may not work with Windows 10? What is this nonsense....
