  • Can't drag move clips after freezing Z3ta+2

I start to notice strange behavior of Sonar. Sometimes it goes to the state when I can't move clips by dragging. I can move their borders, even nudge them, copy-paste is also working. It is only drag-move that doesn't work both with Smart Tool and Move Tool, and with all Midi and Audio clips, in all projects opened in Sonar. It works again with the same project after I restart Sonar. Does anybody face this behavior sometimes?
After some research I can reproduce it. I start new blank project, add Z3ta+2, record some midi notes. Now I can drag-move Midi clip freely. But after I freeze it, all clips stop drag-moving. It doesn't happen the same way if there are other synths in project. But in some cases it happens and with other synths present there.
It seems that it is some specific issue with my setup, but maybe somebody see it too sometimes?

I had this happen a couple weeks ago opening a MIDI file in Gloucester. TTS-1 loaded and when I tried to drag a track to an inserted Z3TA+2 instance it would not drag. Nothing was frozen, but may have been solod/muted. IIRC, I was unable to shift-drag the midi, but could ctrl-drag it.

Thank you, maybe it is related to my case, but I can't shift-drag, ctrl-drag, and simply drag, all of that, in this state...

I am not sure if it let me drag now that I opened the file. I think I actually copied/pasted that MIDI clip (I was in a rush and did whatever worked to get it moved), since I put a second copy into a simple MIDI track. I have since upgraded to Ipswich and it lets me drag the original MIDI track now, so I am not sure what conditions caused this for me. This was the one and only time it has ever happened to me, and I never troubleshot it since I got it moved.

If you can reproduce yours, it is more telling than my case.
