Good morning everyone, hope all is going well for you today!

I've been hit with a production-stopping issue: every time I try to play what I'm working on, the audio engine shuts off. I was wondering if anyone knew of why this may be the case.

Thanks!

audio drivers up to date? if you can, a call to tech support would be useful, as apparently they're testing tascams quite well since the gibson takeover
hth, good luck!

Are the timing masters defined correctly in Preferences > Audio > Driver Settings?

Thanks for your responses!

Would you be talking about Cakewalk support, Pwalpwal?
Scook, as far as I can tell, everything is still configured correctly in my preferences.

I did try another project just to see if the problem persists, and to my surprise it doesn't. It appears this issue is with one project only.

EDIT: Hm, and the plot thickens! It's not the project as a whole, only certain parts of the project. By that I mean, say, minute one plays fine, but once it gets to minute two, it just stops working. Also of note is that I can only play it if I start it from the beginning, and not in an intermediary place.

EDIT 2: Lowering my buffers seems to have resolved the issue, fortunately!

I had a similar problem a while back...
It was with an Antares plug-in (WARM-64x).
I tried to use it on a bus while  I was also using it on a (separate) track.
Didn't initially give me any problems, but when I saved the file and reopened the next day.. WHAM!
To troubleshoot I bypassed the track bins, then the bus bins and narrowed it down to the bus bins.  From there, I disabled each plugin until I found the culprit.  I don't use that plugin on the bus (at least not while using it in an individual track anyways) anymore.
