If the button is yellow in the version of Sonar you have go ahead and upgrade. It will give you the Hopkinton Upgrade. I still show CCC version 1.0

I uninstalled the CCC and reinstalled. Then I logged out then in. Then from settings I ran update. I started the CCC still showing version 1.0. This time the platinum button was yellow. It gave me the Hopkinton Upgrade as far as I can tell. I have the new start up screen. The CCC still shows version 1.0 and in my store account the last thing registered was drum replacement. No sign of the Hopkinton Upgrade in my store account.

Not me. I prefer to wait a few weeks to see if we get a regression bug fix release. With start screen not supporting UTF and from what else I'm reading, I have a feeling it will happen.

Happy to stick with Gloucester for the moment.

The new start screen is ok I guess. The problem I have with it is all the wasted space. I have big boxes for each project and the icon in the middle is about 1/3rd the size of the box.

If there was a way to specify the size of the box or get rid of it altogether that would be nice.

I also notice that the open time for Sonar is increased by 5-6 seconds while the new start screen loads.

Otherwise I like that it shakes things up a bit. The new templates seem like a good way to try out a bunch of sounds to find what you want and make your own track templates.

I'm sure I will get used to the new start screen.

OK the 1.0 is from my list at the top of the CCC. It's not the version of CCC I have but of the Modern Drum Replacement upgrade. I checked out the new start up screen and love it! Don't laugh and you know who you are!!
I Am on prescribed drugs at the moment so at least I have an excuse.

OK I was going to start working on a project and started sonar and there it was the new start screen? Could it be that this update installed differently then the other updates because I didn't see a yellow button anyway it look like I got
the "Hopkinton" update.
Thank you to everyone for your help.
Cakewalk you still have some bugs to fix.

OK Now I see that when I save a project it creates a new thumbnail that is used in the start menu.

I guess that is cool but most my projects will look very similar in the thumbnail because I use the same layout all the time. LOL

Still the wasted vertical space is significant. I have the MRU for sonar set to 15 but can only see 8 without scrolling.

Everything else so far checks out and my projects are working as intended.

Thanks for another smooth update.

Ryan, I am using version 1.0.0.0 of command center.

It sounds like you're confusing another product's version for the Command Center version. CTRL + Click on the Settings icon on the top right and it will tell you the exact version # of Command Center. The latest is 1.1.1.20.

In Command Center, under Connected Products, if you click on "SONAR Platinum" specifically it should fetch the update details, telling you what your Current Version installed is as well as the Latest Version available. Be mindful it only does this for the details obtained in the last update check (which defaults to 24 hours and can be tweaked in the settings).

As I was also mentioning, you can also access the latest updates from http://www.cakewalk.com/my-account/products . It's an important troubleshooting step in the sense that if you see the latest SONAR update in your account versus in Command Center, it lets us know the issue is with Command Center fetching updates versus with your membership status (which would take us down a different path).

Edits for clarity
