Any chance of some feedback on this from Cake, seems to be related to Win7 x64

See my post and the reply / follow-up in this forum entitled
"z3ta+2 no sound from MOST DSF/Wave Scapes patches, nor from a few patches in other libs".
For whatever reason, at least one of the machines I was having this problem on suddenly fixed itself.
However, as a check I tried installing the 32-bit version and running it under Live 8 - the Arps don't work at all on that version.  No sound unless I disable the arpeggiator, in which case there is sound from the patch but no arpeggiation.

More odd, the problem with the 32-bit version occurs under Live 8, which is a 32 bit app, but does not occur when running bridged under Reaper x64.
UPDATE: This is actually due to a bizarre interaction between Live 8 and Z3ta+2.  The arpeggiator in Z3ta+2 only works when the Live 8 transport is in the "running" state (i.e. when you press play).  When the transport is stopped it (apparently) makes the plugin think that the tempo is zero BPM.  Not really sure whether to chalk this up to bad behavior of one or both systems.

I got Z3TA 2 yesterday (addicted to it already!) and have found several of the classic presets (mainly pads) to be silent. Haven't investigated why yet but some interesting ideas on here. I'm using it as a VSTi on Sonar X1C, both 64-bit. Haven't tried it standalone yet.

Same problem here.  Many patches are silent.
Using Windows 7 64-bit.
Great synth, though.  For what works!

Hey guys -

The update is coming soon. We figured out what was wrong and got it fixed.  Z3TA+ 2.1 will be out in a week or two, so this will be fixed, as well as a ton of other little tweaks, improvements, enhancements, and a couple cool features too!

Stay tuned

No other hints, Brian?  I read that scala was back.  What other beans can you spill?

Hey AT -

OK, here are 2 tiny ones :)

- There's a new 'most recent patch' list in the Programs menu now, so you can see the last 20 patches you used (also includes ones from clicking the dice).
- it's easier to use the Ribbon Latch now - you can just right-click on a note in the ribbon controller to latch it - and the ribbon now lights up when you're using the mouse so you can see what notes are latched.

Cool.  Look forward to it.  Mush, Brian, mush.  Stop messing around on the forums.  No days off for you!

(as you see I can get a little excited)

Just for the record the silent presets issue was fixed for me with the Z3TA+ 2.1 update :-)
