Hi everyone...anybody know if i can use a yamaha Bc-1 breath controller with other synths than DX 7?? I have a CME M-key  a casio wk-110. and a casio ctk-573.  M-key has one midi out but no midi in..and 2 jack connections for pedals. The casio ctk 573  has midi in and midi out and one pedal connection. The wk-110 has a USB connection to the computer,no midi in or midi out,and 2 pedal connections. Anyone know if i can hook up the breath controller to any of my keyboards??? Thanks/Ray

I just bought a used BC-1 and was wondering if anyone has a user manual on pdf?

That's the BC 3 but in a way there's not much you need to know about them. Just plug it in the DX synth and blow and see what happens. The BC 1 was very simple.
I see the old posts above and the answer to that is it only works on any synth that has the little plug in for it. And as far as I know that was only Yamaha. We have a DX 21.

I have a Kurzweil PC3K7 and the BC1 works great. I needed to find out about the adjustment. Saw it in another post and all is well now. Thanks.

I've got the TEControl UNI breath controller which works great. This has a built in MIDI output, no need for converters. And it is fully configurable by connecting it to a computer through USB. I'm really happy with it.

I contacted TEControl and they should have a BC3 replacement sometime this year. I have the Breath Control input in my Kurzweil so I can keep my Midi ports free.
