Hello,

1. My eq settings are getting zeroed out, happens in multiple projects. I open  up a project, the eq is flat. Doesn't want to "stick".

2. I have a project that I cannot export/mix down. It's no different than any of my other projects. I have no 3rd party plugins. In fact, I've taken all plugins off. It gets about 1/4 of the way through and I get an error message and that's that.

3. Is X3 studio buggy? I've had lots of problems with it. I've been using Cakewalk since Pro Audio 9, this is the first version I've owned that I've had problems with. Anybody else? Thanks.

Is the latest patch (X3e) installed? What problems specifically?

X3 issues are listed in this thread (see the first post). Some of them were fixed in SONAR 2015.

Yes, the software is up to date. As for specific problems, well, I named two big ones already! The pro channel eq is being reset, which is really a big problem. And I have another project that's useless since I can't mixdown.

Yeah, I only asked because the thread title and #3 said "multiple/lots of."
I don't use Pro Channel, but I think I've heard of the issue in #1. I agree it's a big problem if it's indeed a bug.

There are several others, none as pressing as the above. With one  project, one I bounce a vst to audio, the audio track is assigned to a send as output. On another project, the reverb somehow causes total silence when I load the project. I have to turn it off an on and then all is fine. But the eq resetting and the fact that I can't export a mixdown are the biggies. Thanks for your input.

Consider doing some basic maintenance. Backup first...

1) Make sure windows update is up to date.
2) Update your audio interface drivers and firmware.
3) If you have installed ASIO4ALL anywhere remove it.
4) Update motherboard chipset drivers from intel driver update site, and update the BIOS.
5) With specific projects rule out problem plugins by running PDC mode. If it works fine afterwards turn it back on, try deleting one plugin at a time until the issue stops.
6) Run chkdsk /R

I had a plug-in that caused me that headache. Luckily, it was only used for monitoring and I didn't need it on the mix down, so I could delete it and go on my merry way.

Thanks for the responses. Computer is up to date, chkdsk shows no errors in either drive.

For the project I can't mixdown, I've deleted every plugin. No luck.

As for the eq resetting problem, could there be a way that I'm causing it? Is there some sort of "reset" button that I am unintentionally triggering?
