running into some trouble with the new start dialog screen in hopkinton , previous saved projects (saved using the release before the latest build) give an 'contains incorrect path 'message via this startup screen when opened while they load  fine using the 'file open'  window in the same release , resaved versions of those  create thumb in start dialog , but still give the 'cwp contains incorrect path' when loaded.??

I would check in Edit/preferences/ folder locations and make sure that the Project Files folder is pointing to the right location. It sounds like Sonar is looking somewhere other than where the files are.

Or there are characters which are not being translated correctly by the new start screen. Here is the first report about trouble with file names http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3277926 but I suspect the app will have the same trouble with unexpected characters in the path too.

path for project folder is set correct in prefs so that's not the problem, character sets are displayed identical
as in original filename  , it also doesn't give any info what the incorrect path is  , it just says filename.cwp contains an
incorrect path , since they do load via the open file /ctrl O  it must be something specific to the new startup screen

But i now used 'existing project' instead of the thumbnail icons wich are visible and it loads fine , but i can't use  'recent projects ' + thumbs
to load any project without getting 'incorrect path'
