I am installing Sonar Producer X3 on Vista, and it has been weird. First of all- I did not see it installing part 1,2,3 and 4. How do I know- all 4 parts installed? When I click on Part 2, it says, "Download and run previous packages". I am half asleep, so I cant remember how many times it asked me to select English language- more than once. It also installed Raprure. Is it all- did it install alll parts?
 
Now here is issue: When I open the program, it says, "The procedure point K32EnumProcesses could not be located in dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"
 
When I close this message, it then says, "VST Scan has stopped working". It also would say that if I go to Plugin Manager and try to scan for plugin.
 
Was there an issue with Vista and VST scan? I heard somebody saying- it was addressed in update E. I am still having A. Where can I find the link to updates? Thank you. 

Don't expect the X3 VST scanner to work 100% with X3a on Vista. The Vista patch for the scanner appeared in X3c. Since patches were cumulative in X3, the scanner included with X3e should also work in Vista.

Thank you, but where are the patches? They are not on my account where I had X3. I remember when they release patch, they would have a link to it on the forum- anybody has the link saved? I have those patches on another computer but I dont know how to transfer it from one computer to another, it probably to big for USB drive...

X3 updates here (Support > Support by Product > SONAR > X3).

Thank you everybody, it did solve this VST scanner issue, no more messages (so far- just installed it and opened it once). Appreciate your help. Now if you had same solution for my Windows 8 with Sonar Platinum... I will start another thread if it not resolves after installing latest update. It says VST scanner stopped working after I close the project, before I close the program. It started after one of the updates... 

With Sonar Platinum check the link directly above as well. If no joy temporarily disable your virus scanner, and also run CHKDSK /R
