Hi Sonar friends,

Is it possible to copy/paste in a retrograde way in Sonar X3?

Bars: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. So it would be Copy from 1 to 7 on bar 9 backwards/retrograde.

In other words, I would like to copy from bar 1 to 7 in retrograde way on bar 9 without having to copy/paste each bar separately.

Thank you very much.

MIdI or audio?

Do you want the data within the measures reversed, or the same data within the measures, but the order of the measures reversed?

Thank you for your attention Anderton.

I forgot to mention that it regards to MIDI information.

Like a chord row:
C - F - G7 - Am - Dm

Copy and Reverse Paste would become:
Dm - Am - G7 - F - C

Thank you

Easy! Bounce the MIDI clips to themselves so they become one clip. Copy the clip. Paste the new clip right after the original clip. Select the copy and choose Process > Retrograde. The notes in the second clip will be reversed.

Wow! I did not know it!

I will try it.

I have a long row of chords and I was writing them in a note per note slow way.

Thank you very much.

Sorry for my english.

Best regards
