Run Native Access to install...

Might be talking out of ignorance in case I missed a switch somewhere, but could not find a way with Native Access to actually download the files like in the older service center. Service center does still work well. For some reason I like to have a physical program in my hands.

Yes, thanks Larry,

Trivia findings probably of no consequence to anyone but me. Just too paranoid about not having a hard copy of something.

The old Service Center downloads the update and leaves it on the system so you can archive it in case of a nuclear holocaust. Native Access downloads the update in progress as a .toc file, briefly converts to a zip file, installs and then erases the zip update from your hard drive leaving you without a backup.

You can monitor the download, location noted in the preferences. When toc converts to zip, you have a short time to copy the zip to some other folder while the update is going on, and thus maintain a copy of the update.
