Has anyone come across this ? The stop button on the transport bar is greyed out.

Happens in both Cakewalk and Slat, and only on one project. I have to use the Space Bar on my PC keyboard to start/Stop the project.

Certainly user error, but how to get the button back, i can’t remember what i did to remove it.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Jerry

That seems pretty weird because that is one module with the transport controls. You cannot remove just one. Unless of course you make your graphics.
I've never seen this and I have been here a while. Not saying it's impossible, but?
Hopefully others will chime in.

It is wierd, and only happened today. A graphics issue ? I’m up to date AFAIA, hopefully someone may know an answer.....

The PNG with the greyed out button contains the images for the other button options (It's one image of abut 5 positions) . If the button is showing grey, then the PNG fie is there.

What Kamikazee stated...Thats what I meant by graphics. The actual graphics that sonar uses. Maybe it's corrupt, which, once again is very weird.
That transport module is a graphic as all of the images that make up Sonar. I didn't mean graphics card. If you go to the theme editor you will see all the graphics (images) that make up sonar.

Fine, understood.

But its specific to one project, not all. Also, it happens when said project is launched in Splat as well as CbB..... so i am wondering if i should try firing up the automatic save file, see if that changes anything.

Thanks for the replies,
Jerry

I just checked my stop button and it is by my grayed out if the tracks are not playing. If you play the tracks then the stop button lights up. If you don't have an interface connected to the program (audio card), when you press play the music only moves one step and then stops. If your interface is connected right in sonar/cakewalk, then everything works as normal. I don't think that you can run both Sonar and Cakewalk at the same time, but I have never tried it.

Yes, i quite understand that.

But it seems to be project specific. When the track plays, the stop button stays greyed out. On other projects its normal, that is it appears.
