I bought the DSF Virtuoso sound pack today. You're supposed to be able to use it in Rapture Pro or DimPro. I've installed it twice from the CCC and it's still not listed in either instrument. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try rebuilding the DPro browser with the F5 key?

Can you locate where the programs are installed? I have no experience with this particular package and installer. If they are installed with the rest of the DPro programs they should be in a folder under "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs." The DSF packages I have all have folders starting with "Digital Sound Factory." If it is there try renaming the "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs\programs.lst." ProgramData is a hidden directory.

It was not in the DimPro folder.

So I reinstalled it and watched to see where it was installing. It was installing it to Rapture Pro and yes, it is showing up in RapPro but still not showing up in DimPro. I went back to the info page to make sure that I hadn't misunderstood that you could use it in either program. This is a direct copy and paste "This sound pack works with Dimension Pro or Rapture Pro."

So my question is now, can I copy and paste the programs to the DP folder and have it work or are there other steps involved. The installer doesn't give the option of where you can install it. The reason I wish to use it with DP is because I find it to be more stable than RP.

Problem solved. I went ahead and copied the folder to DimPro and it worked. Thank you for your help!
