This may have been asked somewhere previously, but given the surprising amount of content (you guys weren't kidding about working to make membership worthwhile!), what will the future availability be for monthly content?

I wondering about my backup strategy for all the new content here.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about monthly content.
As long as you continue to be an active member you will continue to have access to any monthly content.
Fixes or changes to the application that show up on a monthly basis are always cumulative - i.e. they will continue in future versions. However any monthly only premium content will not be offered to NEW customers going forward.
If you are on monthly plan and keep your membership active through consecutive months then any premium content will continue to be available to you in future months. This also applies to annual customers obviously since they have fully paid for the membership upfront.
If you stop your monthly membership before completing a consecutive 12 month period you will lose access to that content and SONAR will switch to demo mode.
Once the 12 month period is paid for all the content will continue to be available to you permanently via your account since you now own it. Hope this clarifies any concerns.

Yes, along with the users guide.  Good call, BTW.

Where am I supposed to be looking to see this? Here's what I see...

Okay, that helped. If I hover over the tab in Chrome or Opera I can see it. I'm pretty sure that's referring to when the releases start happening, but it would be easy to assume "coming next" meant February.

Nah, that's just a cock up. Come 'in' February, means in, Coming 'from' February, means it will start from. Probably planned as February and then decided not, stick with coming soon and this slipped through the radar.

Reference Manual PDF.
Where is it?

Sadly, I believe it's bundled with the help and tutorials download which is too large for me to be able to get at this time...

It would be nice if they made the ODG available by itself...

Keni

The PDF link is in post one of this very thread...

Thanks Karyn... I must have been reading "too fast" trying to catch up with the thread... ;-)

Different link...that's the one to the update, he wants the one for the entire program.

Thanks fitzj...

I just found that while looking back... That PDFs is the announcement info for Braintree... Not the reference guide that (I beleive) is where I previously mentioned... Bundled with the huge multi-topic help and tutorials...

Actually, when the roadmap for updates was being discussed the Drum Replacer was not planned for February. I was always told March at the earliest, and more likely April. However that was early on in the planning process, and I'm not privy to everything that happens in Boston, so maybe they decided to move it ahead.

But I think your "slipped through cracks" theory is probably correct, because the items on that page were not planned for February. Originally, the expectation was that the first update would be mostly fixes, and features wouldn't hit until March. But then Noel became Noelistic and spearheaded the DSD, VocalSync, and Mix Recall stuff. They were done fast enough to allow time for QC, so they ended up in the February release.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about monthly content.

Part of the confusion comes from the term "monthly content".  By that expression do you mean:

a) any content made available to people who are monthly subscribers (or prepaid annual subscribers)

or

b) you literally mean there is a plan and commitment to provide a release every month?

I meant a) sorry. There is definitely a plan to release content frequently. It may or may not exactly hit month ends since we will release it when its ready but you can expect updates typically around the time frame of a month give or take some.
