Hi Peeps,

This has been bugging me for some time now, even back in X2.

If I assign icons to Tracks or Busses, each time I open a project the quality of the image gets worse and worse:-

Any ideas why this is happening?

(PC specs in my signature)

cheers

Wow, that is weird. I'm not sure what would cause an issue like this, but one would have to assume it has something to do with a graphics setting or driver. I will keep my eye on this thread as I'd like to know what might be going on here.

Indeed...

But my graphics card is no slouch and the driver is always kept up to date, so I'd be gutted if it was something to do with that...

Andy I've had this happen before, but way back in X1 (or earlier)

Is the degradation visible in Track View, Console View or both?

Hi Jonesey

It's the same for both Track and Console view, and it gets worse each time I open a project, to the point where the icons appear as above.

I have re-selected one of the buss icons and since that I have closed and then re-opened Sonar quite a few times, even closing down my laptop, and it looks okay:-

So this isn't a consistent problem...

Does the same thing to mine, more often I notice after crashes, but happens in my templets as well.

No audio seems affected, just an aesthetic thing. Always thought it was just something I would have to just live with...

Well, going off the response to this topic so far, it appears that we have to do just that...

I had this happen here as well in previous versions and stopped bothering to assign track icons ... I need to try again. Maybe something has been improved here as there was work done in track header area if I recall the fixes from the eZines correctly ...
