SPLAT problems with enable and disable plugins for fx bin?

I inserted a J37 tape plugin in a final mix in SPLAT. The plugin initially was enabled as expected. when disabling the plugin, it is never able to be enabled. It is permanently disabled in the FX bin.

Thoughts?

Latest Splat version?
Latest 64 bit version of the plugin?
Tried running as admin? (and not running as admin).

yeah, everything is updated. Reloading SPLAT and the project in SPLAT enacted the plugin. The expected highlight of the plugin when selected does not work, but the plugin is active. So that is a step in the right direction. All the other FX bin plugins highlight as expected.

well waves have a long history of troubleshooting in these forums - waves-shell, vst2 versus vst3, etc etc - did you try a search?

true, so i'm assuming you searched via google? (by adding "site:forum.cakewalk.com" to the search)
is it the only waves plug you've trouble with?

Does it do this if you put the plug in in ProChannel as the last f/x in the chain?
