Hi all

Right now using Cakewalk Sonar 8.5 dell precision t3400 workstation with added hdd been running windows xp but plan on upgrading to windows 7 pro or 8 when I get my new amd worksation built :)
For Sound card interface I been using 2 delta 1010 duals cards no issues. my new system is going to have limited pci slots so been looking around at a possible replacement since I been reading that windows 7 can't run 2 delta cards in sync like windows xp.

I have my eye on the motu pci 424 card starting with a 2408. plan to upgrade my version of sonar as well do electronic and ambient style type music.

Can't really afford one of the new motu interfaces right now but plan to use Mk1 or mk2 versions  Or Should I Get a pcie card over regular pci

Anyone using motu with sonar any major issues ?

Thanks

At this point, I'd make sure to get the PCIe 424 controller.
It'll have a lot longer shelf-life... and you won't have to worry about bridged PCI slots.

The MOTU 424 is a great performer.

Just FYI: I've built a couple system with PCI-X 424s and even my brand new socket 1150 system runs perfectly with it! These things keep on rocking!
