Has anyone here tried these two plugins? If so what are your thoughts?
 
Here's my thought on them:
I was using the tape emulator that comes with SPLAT but I wasn't getting the "feel" that I was looking for. So I FINALLY took the plunge last week and bought these two plugin. I loaded some presets that come along with them and all I can say is "Why In The Heck Did I Wait So Long To Get These?" I am total blown away!!! They make my tracks sounds so much like how I hear them in my head (they way my older stuff sounded that I recorded on an analogue console back in the day)!!! Makes me want to go and remix the stuff I've done the last 5-10 years (my wife ain't having it though, LOL!!!).
 
 

The Studer hasn't really impressed me (nor has the Oxide), but the Ampex is one of my favorite UAD plugins! :)

I'm not really impressed by the Oxide either, but the other two blows me away. I tweaked some presets on the Studer that was placed on a drum buss and it really sounded great.
