This has now happened often enough for me to wonder and post...
 
It seems to happen when a track has been frozen for a long time...?
 
I unfreeze the track (in this case, multi output AD2) and suddenly I can't hear the snare?
Investigation shows my compressor (pc76) has the input all the way down (low) instead of the 2.7 it was previously set at.
 
I don't understand what is going on...

Did I repost this? Sorry if I did... but this is not the level change I posted earlier today. That is a simple volume change though no controls are different....
 
In this scenario, the knob for the compressor's input level is drastically changed...
